Ambassador Program Terms

The Paprika Patterns Ambassador Program is for anyone who loves our patterns and wants to make a little extra money by promoting them. Every time you make one of our patterns and post about it, you can add your personal referral link. If someone buys a pattern from our site through your link, you will earn 20% of the sale. The program is free to join. Your application will be reviewed for approval. You will have to agree to these Terms & Conditions when you apply. 

All commissions are calculated based on the final sale value after all discounts have been applied. Taxes are not included in the final sale value. 

After you register for the first time you will receive an email if you have been accepted into our Ambassador Program. Approval can take up to 7 days. We reserve the right to refuse any ambassador whose site or profile content we deem an unsuitable fit. As an ambassador you will have access to the ambassador area where you can view your referral stats, generate affiliate links and view your earnings.

Commissions are paid monthly during the following month. All ambassadors must have a valid Paypal account to receive commissions.

Our Ambassador Program uses a 30 day cookie to record referrals. This means that if someone buys within 30 days of clicking on your link you will be credited. It also uses first referral, which means if someone clicked your link but bought through another persons link, the sale will be credited to you. Paprika Patterns reserves the right to reject or remove any ambassador at our discretion.

You may use your own link to shop at Paprika Patterns and receive a commission. However, if you do this more than twice and do not promote those patterns within 3 months of buying, you will be removed as an ambassador. 

There is an Ambassador area on our website where you can log into at any time to check your affiliate statistics and balance. 

By law you must disclose the use of an referral link in text wherever you use them. You can do this by mentioning AFF, AFFLINK or similar in your post.

You will only promote patterns that you have sewn yourself. Only posts are allowed which show a photo of yourself or someone you have sewed the pattern for, wearing the garment. It is not allowed to use our product photos or other people’s photos.

Please do not use your referral link in any of the Paprika Patterns social media groups or pages. You CAN link to a blogpost about your make that has the referral link. 

Do not use your referral link in popups or modals, on coupon websites, or websites that promote sexually explicit materials, violence, discrimination based on race, sex, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, or are otherwise harmful, threatening or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any ambassador from the program at our discretion.

As an ambassador you represent Paprika Patterns. As such, we assume that you will uphold our values of integrity, honesty and inclusivity. No unsolicited emails, unless the recipient is already your subscriber. Clearly represent yourself as an ambassador independent from Paprika Patterns, so there can be no misunderstanding as to who is posting. 

Sounds good? Here’s what to do:

  1. Create a user account on our website, if you don’t have one yet. 
  2. Go to this link: https://paprikapatterns.com/ambassador-area/ and make an account. Make sure you fill in your Paypal email under Payment email. 
  3. Wait for our approval email
  4. Generate your referral link 
  5. Post your awesome makes and include your referral link
  6. Check back in to see your Ambassador stats and commission earned
